Under the NSW Smart and Skilled Contract the Department of Education uses performance-based contracting to measure the quality and performance of the overall market and adjust market settings to support the delivery of high-quality vocational training outcomes. The focus is on students gaining the skills they need to be employable and adaptable and contribute to the productivity and prosperity of NSW.
