  • The TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations is a nationally recognised qualification tailored for individuals pursuing driving roles in the Transport and Logistics Industry. This course aims to provide comprehensive knowledge covering legal obligations, safe cargo handling, industry standards, and emergency procedures. Upon completion, you'll be equipped to confidently and safely undertake various driving operation responsibilities within the industry.

    • There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have written and spoken English skills to the certificate level of the course.

    • Provisional car licence must be held (minimum) prior to undertaking any driving related unit

    • Prospective students may be required to complete a language, literacy and numeracy assessment.

  • By undertaking this course, you will develop skills and knowledge in:

    • Legal requirements and obligations concerning driving operations within the Transport and Logistics Industry, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

    • Applying principles and techniques for the safe loading, securing, and handling of cargo, minimising risks and ensuring the safety of both the cargo and others on the road.

    • Industry-standard practices and procedures in driving operations, maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.

    • Developing skills in handling accident and emergency situations effectively, applying appropriate procedures to ensure personal safety and mitigate risks to others and the cargo.

    • Proficiency in driving various vehicles and equipment, applying best practices and operational techniques for efficient and safe transportation within the industry.

    • On successful completion of this course you will receive a TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations

    • Students who complete one or more units, but do not complete the whole qualification will be issued with a statement of attainment for the completed units only.

  • Our training options are flexible to meet the needs of every student. Training options include face to face, a combination of face to face, work-based training or traineeships.

    Traineeships: 24 months Full time, 36 months part time. Students undertaking a traineeship will have regular workplace and contact support from JKR Trainers.

  • To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in 15 units of competency consisting of:

    Five (5) Core Units:

    • TLIB0002 Carry out vehicle inspection

    • TLIC1051 Operate commercial vehicle

    • TLID0020 Shift materials safely using manual handling methods

    • TLIF0025 Follow work health and safety procedures

    • TLIF2010 Apply fatigue management strategies

    One (1) Driver awareness elective unit

    • TLIC0033 Apply low risk heavy vehicle driving behaviours

    Nine (9) Elective Units:

    • TLIF0009 Ensure the safety of transport activities (Chain of Responsibility)

    • TLIH0005 Interpret road maps and navigate pre-determined routes

    • TLIH0006 Plan and navigate routes

    • TLID0015 Load and unload goods/cargo

    • TLIA1001 Secure cargo

    • TLIF2006 Apply accident-emergency procedures

    • TLIE3021 Work and communicate effectively with others

    • TLIF0025 Follow work health and safety procedures

    • TLIL2060 Complete induction into the transport industry

TLI30321 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations

  • TLI30321 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations is a nationally recognised qualification and offers specialised training in logistics and warehousing.

    It covers specific skilled operations within broader activities, involving established routines and procedures. where some discretion and judgement is required when selecting equipment or services, often under time constraints. It may also include responsibility for coordinating the work of others.

    • There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have written and spoken English skills to the certificate level of the course.

  • By undertaking this course, you will develop skills and knowledge in:

    • Acquiring skills in coordinating supply chain operations, including inventory control, procurement, and distribution, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.

    • Managing inventory levels, employing techniques for stock control, storage, and handling to optimize supply chain efficiency.

    • Understanding logistics principles and transportation operations within supply chains, including route planning, freight handling, and transport coordination.

    • Applying safety standards and regulatory compliance measures within supply chain activities, ensuring workplace safety and adherence to legal requirements.

    • On successful completion of this course, you will receive a nationally accredited TLI30321 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations

    • Students who complete one or more units, but do not complete the whole qualification will be issued with a statement of attainment for the completed units only.

    • BSBOPS305 Process customer complaints

    • BSBPEF301 Organise personal work priorities

    • TLIG0002 Lead a work team

    • TLIA0015 Organise receival and despatch operations

    • TLIX0013X Maintain stock control and receivals

    • TLIJ0003 Apply quality systems
